#TBT | The Body Image Issue

Issue seven of the vegan magazine T.O.F.U.

Earlier this week, Facebook reminded me that the seventh issue of T.O.F.U. was released three years ago while I was attending the second Vida Vegan Conference.

So, given that I cut my finger rather badly last weekend and it’s left me unable to type properly until it heals, I’m going to let that issue do the talking for this Throwback Thursday, and hopefully I’ll be able to write more next week!

About the Issue

Body image. It’s a topic that conjures up plenty of ideas and opinions within the vegan community, and others as well. But, as vegans, are we helping or hindering the movement toward a better world for all sizes? As the focus of this issue, a number of contributors tackle this question from their personal experience, and give us some direction on where things should go from here.

Along with this, issue seven contains plenty of recipes, DIY, activist, and life articles to keep you warm on a rainy day. Or busy on a long train ride. Or distracted during another “where do you get your protein?” conversation.

Preview it here.

Download it here.

Note: A number of the focus articles within the issue also made it into The Book of T.O.F.U., and are now available in a printed format as well. Find out more about the book here.
