Quinoa, no question.

Would you prefer to lead a revolution or to live quietly in the woods?
Quietly in the woods. The revolution is ongoing.

If there is a revolution, will it be televised or a Facebook event?
The new paradigm in Western culture is for things to change gradually. The days of quick and sudden revolution are behind us, at least for the foreseeable future. Things like feminism, lgbt issues, animal rights, racism are all vastly improved in the past 50 years, and this stuff is happening via all types of media.

Favourite vegan thing in your town:
My friends.

Given where some past vegan cooking show folks have ended up (*cough* Isa and Terry *cough*), and the fact that these lovely sounding folks have Hollywood behind them (literally behind them, maybe not supportively behind them), I suspect we may hear more about them in the coming weeks or months. Of course, maybe you already have and I’m just out of the loop?

They seem to have a great attitude for what they’re doing, and some of their ideas for future episodes would be entertaining for sure (Fatburger customer persuasion anyone?) However, I can’t say I’m completely supportive of some of their health claims, but I also lack any sort of major nutritional background, so I could be wrong.

Homesick Elephant

I just saw both of these bands at Echo Curio with Amanda Rogers, and it was great. I also realized today that we’re here in LA for one more day than I thought. I may have to wander out on my own soon just to cover some ground.

There were plenty of signs protesting the current condition of this state’s water supply, and it was surely felt in the area we slept last night as water is being rationed there for each household. It will be interesting to see if there are any signs of such problems here in the city where dreams can come true and many are still trying to remain hopeful that their moment is just around the corner.

Alright, sleep now. The next few days do not require being in the van, and we shall call another place home for a change. I never thought I would see a couch as luxury accommodations.
