Opted for a hotel room tonight in Kansas City at an Econolodge. We’re glad to have access to a shower and beds, but are slightly restless and bored at the lack of scenery outside the window. Touring is boring when things are cushy. A part of me wants to go back to sleeping in the desert or outside of a porn shop in Denver… you know, stories we can tell the grandkids.

Somewhere in middle America

We’re sitting in a restaurant now in Nebraska City. Had a fun show last night at the Saddle Creek Bar in Kansas City, and the one before that in Denver was good too.
If you don’t know of Michelle Malone, find out. She blew us all away in Denver, and the bassist and drummer were equally as impressive with solid solos and obvious experience on stage.
Today we’re just trying to catch-up with the rest of the world as too many nights have been spent in the van so batteries have died and sleep has been found in the craziest positions.
If all goes well, we should have a roof in the coming nights, which hoefully means a video update or two… or at least a warm shower.

A Little Help From My Friends?

So, I thought it may help if I posted the tour schedule here in case you have suggestions for the spaces we currently have yet to figure out. We’re looking for venues that are capable of holding a great music show, and if they happen to be veg*-friendly that is a definite plus. If not, I think we’ll be friendly enough to make up for it.

Also, we’re still looking for veg* musicians, in bands or solo, that would be interested in playing a date or two with us. So, if you are in a city where we seem to need help, drop me a line and we’ll work something out.
