<p>I can&#8217;t say I have actively participated in the lifestyle of being freegan, but I do have a great interest in the politics behind it. Coupled with such things as the public fruit movement, which is documented by sites like <a href="http://www.fallenfruit.org/" target="_blank">Fallen Fruit</a>, it could be a great tool for people trying to live their lives as simple as possible in large urban centres.</p>
<p>Of course, if box stores like Wal-Mart keep spreading across the planet, it may sadly become an easy way of life for those in smaller centres as well.</p>
