How can one take a job at such a corporation and still enjoy making food? Where is the fun? The “let’s see if this works with our friends” and the overall thrill of taking risks both in the pot and, ultimately, on the plate that goes out the door to the hungry mouths?
Focus groups? Lawyers? Engineers? Give me a few shelves in the fridge filled with Tupperware from the past few days, and a few hungry mouths to feed. That’s all I would want to be a happy chef.
